Hey everyone
A lot of times people ask me how I came up with the idea of creating a bra documentary. The honest answer is…I can’t remember! All I know is that sometime three, maybe four, years ago, the idea popped into my head. I shared it with a select group of friends who all encouraged me to go for it, but only recently have I taken to actively filming, promoting, and designing for the L-TAB Project.
Even still, I wanted to share a quick bra story of something that recently happened to me. I was eating at a small, cheap, busy Mongolian barbecue place (there were vegetarian options
) when suddenly, I felt this weird vibe from the table to my right. The group, two girls and two guys, were Asians speaking in a language I didn’t understand, but one thing was clear…they were talking about me. I felt their stares and words wash over me, and somehow I intuitively understood that they were judging me for not wearing a bra. Throughout the meal, I felt angry, shamed, confused, and extremely sad; how could I confront people talking about me in a different language? Why is what I choose to wear (or in this case, not wear) so offensive to some people? When we left the restaurant, that shame and anger stayed with me on the long car ride home, but it also encouraged me to kickstart the L-TAB Project and start stimulating conversations about bras.
Since then, I’ve been talking with all kinds of women regarding their own bra stories. Some through video (which you can check out on the video clips page), others through email. Some through site messaging, and countless more through various forums. A great example includes this CouchSurfing “Independent Women” Bra Thread I started, which as of today has 45 posts with all sorts of varying opinions, advice, and stories.
Whew! Didn’t think I would type this much. As a closing, I just wanted to say thanks for checking out the project, and I hope you share your story through the comments on this page to get the ball rolling
Enjoy the site!

A disadvantage of having big boobs:
It’s harder to find little cute bras with neat little patterns and charms and frills and shit. Damn 32 A cups have like the Rolls Royces of bra selection and anything 38 D or bigger you take what you can get.
Not like there aren’t fancy 38 D bras out there but they tend to be expensive.
