Society never gave us a bra ritual, so we’re making our own! Throughout the week, I will be parading throughout the playa as a Bra Shaman, hosting do-it-yourself and on the spot bra rituals, ceremonies, and sacrifices.
I’m typing this as the washing machine spins methodically in the background, gently cycling through bras.
If you didn’t know already: I’ve been collecting bras from people I’ve interviewed, complete strangers, friends. I’m working on an L-TAB piece for Burning Man, which you can read more about at this post. My actual proposal is here.
Do you have any bras you no longer use? Let me know! If you’re in the Valley, I can swing by your house and pick up your donations. If not, feel free to send a bra via post–as long as it gets here by Friday!
